The Black Medical Students Association will be hosting the second talk in their Black Health Speaker Series AT LUNCH (12:00) ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2017, in MSB 3154.
This time we'll be joined by Dr. Kwame McKenzie, a psychiatrist, researcher and policy advisor. Dr. McKenzie is currently the Director of Health Equity at CAMH and a full Professor and the Co-Director of the Division of Equity Gender and Population in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is an international expert on the social determinants of mental illness, suicide and the development of effective, equitable health systems. Dr. McKenzie is CEO of the Wellesley Institute, a member of the Mental Health and Addictions Advisory Council to the Minister of Health, and he sits on the Board of the United Way Toronto and the Ontario Hospitals Association.
